My why.
I am not moving away from design or technology. I am working to question both of them more deeply.
My work has increasingly moved beyond solving functional problems. I want to understand what the systems I build mean, how they affect people, and where art can return humanity, ambiguity and emotion to technological work.
What I bring is an established habit of independent making: a working studio, live projects, manufacturing relationships more than a decade old, and a record of finishing what I start. I treat the work as a full time practice, and I work at it around the clock.
What the work needs is serious studio time, honest critique, and the company of people who make things carefully. I keep momentum, and with it a genuine appetite to learn, to be challenged, and to develop the areas of my practice that remain incomplete, drawing above all.
